GDIT's Employee Relations Team has an opening for an Employee Relations Partner. In this role, you will be a key contributor to a world-class center of excellence team within our Human Resources division.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Conducts confidential internal workplace investigations and performance, conduct and workforce analysis reviews
- Maintains accurate and timely case documentation by documenting findings in case management system
- Effectively communicates investigative findings in written justifications and summaries
- Completes analysis of data, partners with stakeholders, engages with Corporate Legal to provide recommendations to mitigate risk
- Provides consultation on employee relations matters to organizational stakeholders and recommends disciplinary action and/or appropriate resolution
- Assists managers in preparing for employee conversations, the preparation of corrective action documents and prepares and coordinates off-boarding documents and related activities for involuntary separations
- Collaborates with Human Resources leadership to facilitate activities to positively enhance the GDIT employee experience by proactively addressing employee relations issues
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION for Bachelor's Degree: 6+ years of related Human Resources experience
- One year minimum experience conducting workplace investigations
- Skilled in Human Resources and employment law principles
- Experience interacting with all levels of employees on employee relations issues
- Experience consulting on multiple employee relations issues that vary in scope and complexity
- Ability to manage a high volume of employee relations cases
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality regarding employee information
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual tools such as Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a federal contracting environment
