Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location : Kingwood, TX Agency : Cynet Health Pay : $2,236 per week Shift Information : Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration : 13 Weeks Start Date : ASAP About the Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN Specialty : Cardiovascular Surgery Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Shift Hours per Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM Experience : Minimum 1 year License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Open Heart Cardiothoracic service line experience Description : Collect data in the Operating Room. The unit has 457 beds and 14 operating rooms, including 1 open heart room. Currently in the process of coordinating for 2 open hearts. The staff consists of 8 members, including 4 RNs and 4 Techs. The shift is from 7 AM to 3 PM with call coverage after 3 PM and on weekends. Call coverage is also required for night shifts. Patient ratios are maintained at 1 : 1. Standard operating room equipment is used. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech. Candidates must have experience in open heart procedures. Preference will be given to those with experience in other service lines such as Trauma, General, Gynecology, Urology, Orthopedics, Client, and Plastics. Typical procedures performed include CABG (with and without EVH), Impellas, Pericardial windows, Valve replacements, and ECMO. The ideal candidate will be dependable and flexible.
