Assistant Childcare Director

Overview

The Salvation Army’s Children’s Learning Center is hiring an Assistant Childcare Director and offers excellent benefit package to eligible employees including :

Location : Dorchester, MA

Hours / week : 40 hours per week

Exemption : Exempt

Pay Range : $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Responsible for all aspects of The Salvation Army’s Children’s Learning Center when the Director is not present. Will be hands-on in the classroom and represent the Day Care Center when necessary. Sets the tone for the program, ensures that this program is of high quality, developmentally appropriate, and meets the needs of the children and families The Salvation Army serves.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirements :

Associate’s degree, pursuing Director I certification.

Work Experience :

At least 2 years of experience working in a supervisory role or as a lead teacher and committed to the mission of The Salvation Army.
