Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer - Mall Driving Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post allows you to interact with customers and staff, provide exceptional customer service, and respond to security-related situations as needed. Mon 10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution and reporting as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for any unusual activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with management, staff, and visitors to provide information or assistance regarding security-related matters.
  • Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
  • Assist with access control and enforce location policies as directed.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
