LPN / LVN School 1.1

The 1 : 1 School LPN / LVN is responsible for identifying andaddressing health concerns in students within the school setting. This roleincludes promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supportingdisease prevention efforts. The School LPN / LVN monitors the student’s physicalcondition throughout the school day and refers to appropriate healthcareresources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the SchoolLPN / LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state educationcodes.

Minimum Requirements :

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current LPN / LVN license in the state which services arebeing provided
• One year of school nurse experience, preferred
• One-year pediatric experience, pre
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The assignment is for the school day, so bell to bell, witha 30 minute nonduty lunch. Student needs Catheter,
