Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Healthcare System seeks a full-time Physician Assistant to add to their orthopedic team. This Physician Assistant will directly work with an Orthopedic Surgeon with a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle. The position is a combination of office and OR. Cases include; Ankle replacement, trauma, reconstruction, arthroscopic surgery and some deformity. Responsibilities include first assisting, casting, consulting, rounding, patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results, H&P, and pre and post-op follow up. Also, there is an opportunity to work in ortho urgent care (additional compensation).

Successful candidate should be NCCPA-Certified/Eligible. The location is within the Fort Wayne area! The area provides great quality of life, very low cost of living, outdoor recreational activities and all the amenities of a major metro area. This doctor will train a Physician Assistant with a passion for the specialty.

Compensation: Base salary range: Depends on experience, plus a bonus. Additionally, there is an excellent full benefits package provided which includes 401k profit sharing plan with matching, full medical, 20 days of vacation and one week of CME, insurance, and profit sharing. A relocation package is offered.
