Position Description :
The Logistics Systems Data Analyst Senior supports the planning, policy, execution, reporting, and oversight of logistics and supply chain functions for the command. This position involves leveraging strong data and analysis skills to create dashboards and visuals in PowerBI for briefings and requires proficiency in pulling reports and data in GCSS, as well as fluency in TFSMS.
The role supports the G-4 section by assisting with various logistics functions critical to the operational success of the MEF, including supply operations, maintenance support, and financial management. The analyst will develop and deliver briefings related to these operations.
This position is located % onsite in Camp Pendleton, CA.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Assist the G-4 section in delivering comprehensive logistics capabilities that extend the support of the Marine Corps and the MEF.
Help coordinate and manage logistical functions such as supply chain operations, maintenance tasks, and financial management.
Support the development and execution of logistics plans to ensure the readiness and sustainability of operational units.
Work closely with the G-4 team to organize and implement task-organized logistics combat elements in support of Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) operations.
Support the logistics needs of deployed and mobilized units, ensuring timely and effective solutions for mission success.
Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal logistics support.
Draft and / or update supply and maintenance policies in accordance with current regulations. Provide amplifying guidance to intermediate and using units in the execution of policies.
Provide executive-level briefs on supply operations, maintenance support, and financial management.
Provide training updates relevant to analysis for unit-level leaders in the execution of current logistics and supply chain processes and procedures.
Provide logistics support services, which include draft policies and procurement system services within the Procure-to-pay, Plan-to-stock, Acquire-to-Retire, and Order-to-Cash business processes.
Conduct analysis on various Table of Authorized Material Control Number (TAMCN) end items on Total Life Cycle Management, mean time before failure, sustainment costs, problem class IX consumables, and overall readiness trends.
Determine trends and process improvements through analysis of key supply performance indicators, such as analysis of supply readiness posture of TAMCN end items, analysis of excess and obsolete equipment, and analysis of programs for equipment sourcing and distribution processes.
Develop a process for analyzing past equipment maintenance spending trends, service request part demands,
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
Mandatory : eight years of full-time experience (including internships) providing logistics and supply chain management related services
Waiverable / Substitutable : Additional four years of experience (12 years total) in lieu of degree
Strong experience with GCSS, as well as fluency in TFSMS.
Must have a military background in logistics and supply, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the United States Marine Corps (USMC).
Required experience in both supply and maintenance operations, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of military logistics processes and procedures.
