As a Freight Handler at Sam's Club Supply Chain, you will have a critical role in moving product through our supply chain network to service our members. You must be comfortable working in extreme climates, as the facility may not be climate controlled. You can expect the work to be physically demanding and fast-paced with an extremely high focus on your safety and the safety of others.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handles and processes freight in a safe and correct manner by unloading, order filling, packing, and/or loading freight in an accurate and timely manner.
• Notifies management about safety opportunities, damaged products, or improper procedures in the facility.
• Uses freight handling and/or power equipment in a safe and correct manner.
• Maintains a clean work environment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.60 - $25.10* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
