Aerospace Production Certification Instructor - 1st Shift
Location : Everett, WA
Primary Travel Areas : Renton, Everett, Seattle, Auburn, Frederickson, WA
Travel Requirement : Up to 25 percent, approximately one week per month
Shift : 1st Shift, 5 : 30 AM - 2 : 30 PM, flexibility of plus or minus one hour
Pay Rate : $32.00 per hour
Employment Type : Variable hours based on client demand

Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Aerospace Production Certification Instructor to deliver hands-on technical training across multiple aerospace disciplines. This role supports a dynamic production environment and requires flexibility in scheduling, travel, and instructional focus. While aerospace experience is helpful, it is not required. Candidates with strong instructional capability, compliance awareness, and a willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply.
Instructors collaborate closely with site leadership, travel between facilities as needed, and support multiple shifts when coverage is required. This position offers direct access to management and a team-oriented culture that values attitude, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver instructor-led technical and certification training to production teams
Facilitate classroom and hands-on instruction in compliance-driven environments
Adjust training schedules based on client needs and class duration
Travel to client sites up to 25 percent of the time, mileage reimbursed
Collaborate with instructors and managers to ensure consistent training coverage across shifts
Maintain professional standards, documentation accuracy, and safety compliance
Support onboarding, certification, and workforce readiness initiatives
Scheduling and Employment Notes
Work hours vary based on class schedules and client demand
Five working days do not always equate to 40 hours, as class lengths vary
Five days of work per week are not guaranteed
Flexibility to cover 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift when needed is required
Instructors regularly cover for one another across shifts

Comfortable working in a regulated, compliance-driven environment
Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and tools
Strong communication and presentation skills
Willingness to travel and work variable schedules
Preferred Backgrounds and Experience

Instructional Focus Areas
1. Electrical Instructor
Electrical aircraft installations and assembly
Electrical functional testing and troubleshooting
Electrical crimping and soldering
Basic mechanical skills
2. Aerospace Mechanical Skills Instructor
Electrical installations, bonding, and grounding
Aircraft assembly, heavy structure drilling, and maintenance
Blueprint reading, production standards, and functional testing
Aircraft systems operation, familiarization, and troubleshooting
3. Aerospace Seal Instructor
Application of aircraft sealants
Cleaning and sealing aircraft components
4. Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Instructor
Confined Space procedures
Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO)
DOT compliance
Fall Protection
Travel and Location Details
Majority of training events occur in Renton and Everett, WA
Additional sites include Seattle, Auburn, and Frederickson, WA
Locations are subject to change based on client needs
Mileage reimbursement is provided at a preset rate
Onboarding and Clearance
All hires must complete a client-required onboarding and badging process, which typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to clear prior to starting instruction.
