Join our team as a Medical Front Desk Specialist and play a crucial role in creating a welcoming, professional atmosphere for our patients. This highly interactive, customer-facing position supports both front and back office functions in a busy medical practice averaging 100 patients per day. Hours (30 hours weekly):
Monday: 7:15am - 7:15pm (90 min lunch)
Tuesday: 10am - 1pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 7:15am - 6:15pm (90 min lunch)
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet all patients with a warm, friendly, and professional presence
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain organized front desk flow
- Support the doctor during patient visits (calling out adjustments and note-taking)
- Assist with back-office tasks as needed to ensure seamless clinic operations
- Consistently deliver a high-quality patient experience with empathy and attention to detail
- Soft skills: Professionalism, excellent communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence
- Willingness to commit to the role long-term and grow with our team
- Eagerness to learn and master all new office and health information systems (e.g., scheduling tools, electronic records)
- Adaptability and continuous learning mindset

- Previous experience in a medical setting is a plus but not required
