Level 1 : Estimated Pay $18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Level 2 : Estimated Pay $21.15(minimum) - $27.40(midpoint) - $33.65(maximum) Plus shift differential and overtime

Are you ready to make your mark? Woodward is hiring an Operations Technician to support our manufacturing process at our Loves Park Campus. This position is a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday, 3 : 00pm - 3 : 30am) and will perform operations on CN / VMC Machines.

Key Responsibilities :

Operations : Follows documented procedures to accurately and efficiently produce products using specified tools and equipment. Flexes and supports the full product line in various processes / capacities.

Process : Observes and records key process variables to ensure consistency and quality in operations. Accurately logs daily operations and resolves or escalates concerns. Follows standard operating procedures.

Quality : Conducts inspections and tests to verify the accuracy and functionality of products and records and maintains data per operating standards.

Organization & Cleanliness : Adheres to 5S principles by keeping workstations clean, organized, and free of unnecessary items. Follows established guidelines to ensure tools, materials, and equipment are properly stored and maintained.

Safety Mindset : Adheres to all established safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements; maintains mindfulness of self and surrounding work area to promote a safe working environment.

Technical Capability : Understands and follows basic technical instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Additional Requirements :

Moderate physical activity requires agility and dexterity, including walking, standing, or bending;

and lifting or moving objects. Work is performed in an area with moderate risk or discomfort that may require special safety precautions, such as wearing protective clothing or gear. May be required to pass Near Vision and / or Color Vision examinations.

Successful candidates typically have :

Individuals with experience of setting up and operating CNC machines are highly desired

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing is strongly desired

Previous or current experience performing inspection techniques using a variety of measurement tools and equipment, including but not limited to optical comparators and CMM experience is preferred.

Ability to perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and organizational skills
