Compassionate Care Hospice in Taunton an Amedisys company is looking for Certified Pet TherapyVolunteers to offer therapeutic non-medical support as needed to the hospice patient, family / caregiver, and staff at communities our patients reside. We have several opportunities in the greater Taunton and Fall River area.

Hospice patients enjoy having visits from certified dogs to bring them companionship, comfort, happiness, and wonderful memories of their pets. Pet Therapy helps patients cope better with their medical problems, relieve stress from illness and provide comfort and companionship. Patients look forward to their next visit with these animals.

If you have 1 hour of time to spend with a patient and share the love of your pet with them, we would like to have you join our team.
