You will make real money while making a real difference in our area. A full support team for all our digital & audio products. SEM, SEO, Social, display, podcasting and all things audio. Our recent 94.7 WMAS Children's Miracle Network Radiothon raised over $302,000 in just two daysRight from our studio home at the Basketball Hall of Fame You will also have access to concerts, events, Red Sox and Patriots games for you and your clients.

Audacy has extensive digital marketing assets, widely attended events with unique sponsorship opportunities, and our e-commerce platform. In addition to our local outreach, you will have access to sell on a national level across all 48 Audacy markets, and be handsomely compensated for it! Audacy offers an attractive base salary, bonus compensation plus lucrative commissions beyond quota attainment. Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, creative, curious, proactive problem solver, tenacious, detail-oriented, money-motivated and would approach this job as if they were their own CEO. You should have an array of successful business relationships to speak proudly about.

The anticipated starting salary range for Springfield-based individuals expressing interest in this position is $60,000.00/Yr.-$100,000.00/Yr..

Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • Build strong relationships with advertisers to ensure their success and repeat business
  • Proactively develop new business by using all of our advertising and marketing assets
  • Continuously learning and training on new assets and marketing techniques
  • Create marketing campaigns and strategically sell to local and regional decision makers
  • Close business and oversee the execution of the marketing campaign and exceed client expectations
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Achieve sales objectives and goals
  • Continuously build your knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and innovations

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must:

  • Proven success in selling media, event/sponsorship sales, or digital platforms.
  • Ability to develop new business and manage sales with a proven track record of exceeding goals
  • Thorough understanding of advertising and marketing including digital, audio, event and interactive.
  • A creative mind to put together unique campaigns focused on solving client needs
  • Strong problem solving skills - you're someone who identifies a problem as an opportunity to develop business
  • A positive attitude and a desire to continuously grow your income
  • Possess a hunter mentality with cold calling/prospecting experience
  • Have a proven ability to negotiate and close with a high level of success, and must easily build relationships
  • Consistently driving game-changing results, this individual knows how to identify, develop, and present customized solutions to clients using non-traditional and digital concepts
  • With excellent written and oral communication skills, this individual easily commands the room during presentations
  • Able to multi-task with a high degree of time management and organizational skills
  • We are looking for driven individuals who refuse to lose or compromise their level of success
  • In keeping with the other members of the Audacy team, the #1 trait we look for is a "WINNING ATTITUDE"
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point) required.
  • A valid driver's license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
