Job Title : Deconstruction Technician / Material Handler

Location : Chandler, AZ 85226

Pay Rate : $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 30 PM or 6 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Job Overview :

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Deconstruction Technician / Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for taking apart and organizing various electronic components, ensuring they are ready for resale or repair. This entry-level position requires basic computer knowledge and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities :

Deconstruct and break apart electronic units using hand tools.

Pull apart components, including monitors, keyboards, and cables.

Utilize scanners to track and sort units in the PreSort department.

Assemble boxes for shipping and prepare items for clients.

Clean and precondition units, including peeling off stickers and wiping down surfaces.

Test Apple electronics, servers, laptops, and hard drives to ensure functionality.

Navigate computer interfaces to verify unit details and data.

Handle material receiving and organize products into the correct boxes.

Perform light data entry and check in products and returns.

Assign units to different customers based on their specifications.

Qualifications :

Basic knowledge of computers and electronic components is preferred.

Ability to work with hand tools and perform physical tasks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Must pass a background check and drug test.

Work Environment :

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality control and efficiency. The role includes handling various electronic components and requires physical activity, including lifting and moving items.
