Material Handler / Forklift Operator

What You'll Do :

  • Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines
  • Load / unload / store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage
  • Store and retrieve material (piece pick and / or bulk)
  • Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products
  • Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in working and assigned area
  • Assists in periodic inventory counts as requested

    • What We're Looking For :

  • One year or recent forklift / warehouse experience
  • Ability to proficiently and safely use forklift to transport products, load / unload trucks
  • Ability to understand and follow directions
  • Ability to work independently at times under pressure
  • Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to read / comprehend sales orders, purchase orders, safety material, etc.
  • Safe work record and stable work history
