THE ROLE
The Senior Child Protection Practitioner (non-supervisory and supervisory) is responsible for supporting, supervising and developing Child Protection Practitioners in the integration of theory and practice whilst demonstrating their expertise through case practice and the supervision of child protection practitioners. The Senior Child Protection Practitioner (non-supervisory and supervisory) will work collaboratively with the Team Manager to strengthen case practice, provide effective service delivery and to support other practitioners in the development of plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes.

ABOUT YOU
The role requires significant practical experience as outlined in the position description and the ability to demonstrates these capabilities consistently in all settings/situations. You will also have confidence to support, advise and guide other colleagues on the application of these capabilities in their work.
Mandatory
- A Bachelor or Masters of Social Work or equivalent
- 2 years relevant social work experience
- A current and valid professional membership
- A valid driver's licence is required
and
- Ability to obtain an Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) card upon relocating to Victoria
