Blue Horizon Sailing is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, dedicated to creating equitable access to the waterfront through community sailing, youth education, and workforce development.

We’re seeking a creative volunteer to help strengthen our online presence. You’ll maintain and improve our website, develop a social media strategy (focused on Instagram), and create engaging content that shares our story and impact.

Responsibilities :

  • Update and maintain our website (WordPress or similar)
  • Design or refine pages for clarity and accessibility
  • Develop and manage a social media strategy to grow our reach
  • Create posts, images, and short videos highlighting our programs and community
  • Track engagement and suggest improvements

Skills :

  • Website or social media experience (especially Instagram),
  • Good visual sense,
  • Writing or design creativity,
  • Self-motivated.

    • Commitment : 3–5 hours per week, fully remote and flexible.
