Key Responsibilities Certified Payroll Accountant
- Will be responsible for managing all certified payroll functions for union projects while also supporting broader accounting operations. This is a hands-on role for a Certified Payroll Accountant who is detail-oriented, reliable, and well-versed in the complexities of commercial construction payroll compliance.
- Serve as the primary Certified Payroll Accountant responsible for preparing and submitting accurate certified payroll reports.
- Maintain all required union payroll documentation, wage classifications, and fringe benefit reporting.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and municipal certified payroll requirements.
- Manage AP and AR functions, including invoicing, vendor payments, lien waivers, and reconciliations.
- Support job cost tracking and collaborate closely with project managers and operations.
- Assist with month-end close, audits, and financial reporting.
- Provide continuous support as the Certified Payroll Accountant to improve accounting workflows and processes.

Qualifications
