Location : Elkhorn, NE Position Type : Full-Time Reports To : Shop Manager

Level Countertops, Cabinets & Flooring is growing and we’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Shop Float to join our Cabinet Shop team. This role is essential in supporting daily shop operations, ensuring high-quality products, and keeping production running smoothly.

What You’ll Do The Shop Float plays a versatile role in the cabinet shop, supporting multiple stages of cabinet production. Key responsibilities include :

Assembly & Production Support Sort and assemble custom cabinet parts and componentsSort and build drawer box partsSort and build cabinet components based on shop drawings and Level standardsClean all cabinet and component parts to prepare for productionStage cabinets in running order for installation of additional componentsInstall corresponding drawer guides and hinges according to specificationsHang doors and drawer fronts based on the cabinet layoutCommunicate with the Shop Manager regarding discrepancies or needed clarifications

General Shop Support Provide assistance with additional machine operation (including banding), when neededAssist with assembly or specialty areas as assignedProvide help with shipping and delivery when required

Additional Expectations Maintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresComplete related duties as assigned by the Shop ManagerAssist with routine shop maintenance and housekeepingWork efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlinesMaintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong team environmentWork independently while following detailed instructions

Physical Requirements Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions to meet productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular attendance to meet production needsMust be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs
