Production Artist

Location : Norwalk, ConnecticutJob Type : Contract to PermCompensation Range : $30 - 35 per hourOur client is seeking a temp-to-hire Production Artist to work fully onsite at their Norwalk, CT office. The production artist collaborates with internal marketing department team members to create, edit and release a high-volume of direct mail projects for monthly mail campaigns. Under the supervision of the Director of Creative Services, this role interacts directly with a variety of individuals across departments. Superior attention to detail, strong production skills, knowledge of print production and best practices for digital mechanical file set-up are keys to the success of this position. Responsibilities : Work closely with internal teams including Print Production and Campaign Management to execute design projects under tight deadlines.Create, review, edit and proof a high volume of partner collateral, while maintaining above-average accuracy and brand / file integrity.Respond quickly to high priority requests while maintaining production and design standards.Stay up-to-date with design software tools.Assist other designers as needed in order to ensure tight deadlines are met.Prepare InDesign files for digital and offset printing. Qualifications : A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Advanced level skills using Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator (A test will be administered).Thorough understanding of the printing process plus knowledge of lasering for direct mail components.Experience creating and proofing InDesign files using the layers palette.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.Superior organizational skills and proven ability to multi-task and successfully manage multiple, concurrent projects under tight deadlines.JobID : 102025-114609#LI-Cella#LI-AV1#PLEqual Opportunity Employer : Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
