[job_card.job_description]Work in a hospital Med Surg unit Day shifts starting at 6 : 30 AM for 12-hour shifts Expected to care for 5-7 patients per shift Every other weekend rotation required No on-call responsibilities May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses Uses Epic for electronic medical records Contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team Travelers are required to work two out of three major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving) Time-off requests are limited to one day between 11 / 26 / 25–11 / 30 / 25 and 12 / 23 / 25–1 / 2 / 26 Orientation provided, with 16 hours of initial onboarding Candidates who were employed by the client within the last 12 months may not be eligible Same day interviews are available for qualified candidates Active IL RN license required at time of consideration IA RN license also required, or proof of application for IA single state or compact RN license Minimum experience in Med Surg, Post Op, or Stepdown settings required Comfortable managing a patient load of 5-7 Current active certifications (e.g., BLS) required Recent supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required Candidates must have a taxable address at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
