Sales Executive

FLS Transportation is currently looking for an experienced, energetic, and motivated Transportation Brokerage Sales Professionals to join our established and growing organization. The objective is to build and maintain a high-performance sales organization to achieve business objectives effectively.

The ideal candidates will have a solid experience in a 3PL environment. The sales executive will have a network to call upon and demonstrate success in selling in a third-party (3PL) brokerage environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Generate sales leads by inside sales networking, cold-calling prospects, and building relationships as part of a coordinated sales strategy;
• Maintain relationships with existing clientele and build business internally;
• Ensure new customers and business are fostered;
• Create sales strategies by gathering market information, analyzing opportunities, and documenting sales methodology;
• Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s);
• Prepare presentations and delivering to prospective clients.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally.
• 3-5 years sales experience (3PL industry required).
• Ability to bring on, close, and deliver new business.
• Out-going, "Hunter" personality.
• Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Proactive.
• Organized, detail-oriented excellent follow-up skills are essential.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
