Position Overview :

Keep our communities fed. Our focus is simple but meaningful, from our distribution centers to our offices every employee of C&S and their family of companies works to help feed local families, neighbors and communities. As an Overage, Shortage & Damages Team Member, you will be part of the team that manages the proper disposition of damaged and returned product. You will receive over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse and repack the salvageable product.

Job Description :

You will contribute by :

• Managing the proper processing of damaged and returned product
• Receiving over-shipments and damaged product from customers and the warehouse to repack what is salvageable
• Stacking product that cannot be sold to the customers on a pallet, shrink wrapping and loading on a trailer to be shipped to another facility
• Maintaining record of returned products from inbound trailers
• Keeping work area clean and sanitary by sweeping and mopping floors and stacking product
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift Walking various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc. Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
