Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education teaching opportunity is designed for educators passionate about supporting middle school students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs. The position is based in Burnsville, MN, serving grades 6 through 8 in a center-based program that fosters a supportive learning environment for 810 students.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver academic instruction in science, social studies, and other core subjects
• Teach targeted mini-lessons on social-emotional learning (SEL) and literacy strategies
• Support students with coursework from other classes to promote overall academic success
• Collaborate closely with a dedicated School Social Worker who provides push-in and individual support sessions
• Work alongside Educational Support Professionals (ESPs) who assist both in the specialized classroom and general education settings
• Manage small class sizes, typically ranging from 3 to 5 students, to provide personalized attention and support
