Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program CMM inspection routines for complex machined components
- Perform hands-on dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and CMM equipment
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and advanced GD&T
- Support First Article Inspections (AS9102) and new product introduction
- Conduct in-process, final, and first-article inspections
- Identify nonconformances and assist with root cause and corrective actions
- Mentor junior inspectors
- Drive inspection strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
- Strong CMM programming experience (not just operation)
- Advanced knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Experience inspecting precision machined components (aerospace preferred)
- Experience with AS9100 or ISO-based quality systems
- Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment
- Strong documentation and data validation skills
