This is a seconded position, meaning the selected candidate will be employed by ITAC but work full-time on assignment with one of our clients. While day-to-day responsibilities will be managed on-site with the client, ITAC provides ongoing support, resources, and benefits as your employer. This position is for an estimated duration of six (6) months with the potential to extend, and requires the employee to be on the client's Byhalia, MS site. Objective

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in leading mechanical engineering efforts across a large industrial project, ensuring technical excellence, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with client objectives. This role involves advanced design, analysis, troubleshooting, and leadership in project execution within multidisciplinary environments.

• Develop mechanical scope documents, specifications, and discipline narratives.
• Design mechanical systems including piping, HVAC, rotating equipment, and pressure vessels.
• Interface with vendors and clients to define technical requirements and maintain quality control.
• Ensure compliance with ASME, API, and other applicable codes.
