Work Schedule : Tuesday - Saturday, 4 : 00am - 12 : 30pm (7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm on Saturdays). OR Wednesday - Sunday 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm (7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm on weekends). 40 hours per week, work hours may vary based on business needs; work schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays

Essential Job Duties : We are hiring a Facilities Enhancement Technician for the NC State Student Centers. You’ll be part of a team that fosters a clean and safe environment for students and guests of NC State University. In this fast paced, hands on role, you will use standard housekeeping equipment, tools and supplies to accomplish basic cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, dusting, and disinfecting.

This position requires a high degree of flexibility to respond to and coordinate with the needs of clients, occupants, and requests. Communication with the team, others and supervisor is critical for success.

This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs frequently and 90 lbs occasionally, stand for long periods of time, walking, bending, twisting, pulling and pushing (all with or without reasonable accommodations).

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Hiring for 2 positions for the following hours :

Ability to adjust schedule if needed to meet the business needs of the department. Work schedule may include nights, weekends and holidays. May be required to work some overtime.

Preferred Qualifications :   Experience performing housekeeping duties in a university or commercial environment.
