Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to grow with the practice. Must be able to work on-site in Houston. Bilingual (Mandarin fluency) strongly preferred. Competitive salary starting at $90,000+ annually. Health insurance after 3 months. Bonus eligibility based on performance. Direct mentorship and ongoing professional development. Our client, a growing Asiatown-based civil litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team. The firm primarily handles personal injury, commercial / insurance disputes, and family law cases.
This role offers the opportunity to manage cases from start to finish, gain hands-on trial experience, and work closely with an experienced attorney mentor in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of civil litigation, from case development to trial.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery responses.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and defense counsel.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
