Lead Sterile Processing Technician

The Lead Sterile Processing Technician performs routine maintenance and preparation of instruments, supplies and equipment requiring decontamination and sterilization in a medical facility, as well as all duties performed by the Sterile Processing Technician I & II. This is the third level of a three-level series. It is distinguished from the lower levels by increased responsibility for the sterilization, assembly, and testing of medical equipment, supplies and instruments. It is distinguished from the higher level by closer supervision and less complex procedures. Coordinates orders, receives stock and distributes materials, supplies and equipment in department. Directs technicians in routine duties and assumes responsibility for department in Supervisor's absence.

• This role is an onsite position and will report onsite daily as scheduled.
• This role requires for you to be located within a commutable distance of our office location listed below :
• Texas : Lubbock
• Flexible and available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on departmental needs and operational requirements.
• Flexible and available to work on a variable shift which may include days, evenings, or nights shifts.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
