[job_card.job_description]A.A.S. / Two-Year Degree in Mechanical Technology or related field of study Mechanical aptitude in working with small powered and / or non-powered hand tools, as well as larger test / metrology equipment Tear-down and post-mortem characterization experience including practical use of optical and SEM microscopy. Experience working with glove-box and clean-room settings. Basic computer and data analysis / archiving skills, including familiarity with programs such as Microsoft Office, web-based work request systems, etc. The ability to maintain an accurate and thorough record of activities performed, including via a laboratory notebook.

7 : 00 AM – 04 : 00 PM or 08 : 00 AM – 05 : 00 PM Monday through Friday
Pay : $48 hourly
Job Description :
Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Developing and / or executing experiment / test plans regarding product performance and reliability
- Optimizing and / or maintaining tools and equipment in accordance with the needs of product development and testing
- Utilizing manual dexterity to prepare and / or build specimens and device prototypes for testing
- Interfacing with the broader S&T organization and business to generate and / or characterize specimens, to interpret or expand test results, and more
- Recording, logging and reporting out on observations and test data, and presenting associated conclusions and next steps to customers / stakeholders
- Working with others to identify needs and procure items including samples, consumables, new test fixtures or equipment, etc.
