A company is looking for an Underwriter III - Non-Delegated Mortgage.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite Government and Conventional loans by reviewing loan files for compliance with quality standards
Manage individual pipeline by completing various underwriting tasks within established turn times
Contact clients to provide updates and clarify outstanding conditions and deficiencies on loans
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Encompass LOS experience preferred
Loan quality and risk management experience
Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop Underwriter and Loan Product Advisor
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.)
