What You'll Do :

As a Staff Accountant, you'll play a key role in preparing and maintaining accurate financial records that track the organization's assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other critical financial activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support period closings and assist in preparing financial statements
• Perform daily deposit and bank reconciliations
• Complete multi-state, city, and county sales tax reporting
• Prepare and review credit card reconciliations
• Maintain the General Ledger with accurate journal entries and account reconciliations
• Research and resolve discrepancies across accounts
• Create special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Prepare personal property tax returns
• Recommend improvements to accounting procedures and practices
• Provide auditors with documentation and account details during annual audits
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accruals
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company information
• Contribute to team success through special projects and additional duties as needed
