Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher will support the Lead Teacher in meeting the emotional and developmental needs of the children in their care, implementing daily lesson plans and communicating with parents. Assistant teachers are responsible for maintaining a safe environment as well as promoting a Christ-centered atmosphere within the child care. Assistant teachers will help with daily tasks such as diaper changes and bathroom breaks, behavior management, snack preparation, minor cleaning, and interacting with parents. Part-time Assistant Teachers will be responsible for end of day duties as well as developing meaningful relationships with families as they pick up their children at the end of the day. They will be working with children ages birth to 5 years of age. We offer competitive pay depending on education and experience. Hours will be Monday-Friday from 2pm-6pm or 3pm-6pm.
