[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to identify and report any irregularities or security-related concerns. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members regarding security-related matters. Document and report any incidents, observations, or concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unauthorized individuals and / or suspicious activity at the location. Support the enforcement of access control procedures and site-specific policies as required by the client site. At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol
As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrol in West Memphis, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, managing access control, and delivering exceptional customer service.
