GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB :

The Logistics Specialist supports the daily operations of Nursing Administration by coordinating the flow of supplies, equipment, and resources necessary to ensure efficient nursing operations across inpatient and specialty units. This role provides administrative, operational, and logistical support to the Nursing Leadership Team, ensuring timely delivery of materials, management of

assets, and coordination of key nursing projects and initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-through skills.
• Coordinate procurement, inventory, and distribution of nursing supplies, equipment, and materials.
• Manage equipment requests, repairs, and replacements in collaboration with Biomed and Materials Management.
• Monitor unit needs and proactively address supply or operational gaps that impact patient care.
• EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :
•  Experience working with nursing departments or clinical operations strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
