Surgical Technologist - Cardiovascular Surgery

Location

Tomball, TX

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift : 07 : 00 AM - 05 : 00 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist specializing in cardiovascular surgery to join our team. The ideal candidate will work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment and possess strong scrub skills for a variety of procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in surgeries by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
  • Scrub for cardiovascular surgeries, ensuring all instruments and supplies are available and functional.
  • Collaborate closely with the surgical team, including surgeons, nurses, and other surgical techs.
  • Adhere to all surgical protocols and safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Must have cardiovascular surgical tech experience with the ability to scrub CV surgery procedures.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
  • Experience with general and orthopedic procedures is preferred.
