We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and experienced Permanent Paralegal to join our fast-paced legal team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to multitask. This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Paralegal to further their career in a supportive and challenging environment, working alongside a team of highly skilled legal professionals.

Responsibilities :

As a Permanent Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to :

1. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.

2. Managing and organizing large volumes of complex documents, including reviewing, categorizing, and filing them accordingly.

3. Drafting and preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.

4. Assisting in case management, including maintaining calendars, tracking deadlines, and ensuring timely filings.

5. Facilitating effective communication and interaction with clients, maintaining professionalism and discretion at all times.

6. Providing comprehensive litigation support, including gathering evidence, coordinating with expert witnesses, and preparing for depositions and trials.

7. Utilizing project management skills to coordinate and oversee specific legal projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.

8. Demonstrating excellent time management skills to balance multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications :

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within the legal industry.

2. Proficiency in document review and handling legal documentation.

3. Experience in General liability, Insurance Defense, or Civil Litigation preferred - trucking or medical malpractice preferred

4. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

5. Ability to support 3 attorneys and assist with paralegals

6. Proven experience in providing litigation support.

7. Solid project management skills, with an ability to coordinate and oversee legal projects.

8. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
