We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Neuro Rehabilitation and be committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals through therapeutic interventions. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including those in outpatient settings, home health, residential, and geriatrics, to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop effective treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home care strategies.
- Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from clinical settings to home or other care environments.
- Stay current with best practices in occupational health, early intervention strategies, and case management.
- Therapeutic sessions vary from inpatient, outpatient, or home and community environments.
Requirements
A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.Valid state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapist.Experience with Neuro Rehabilitation.Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of various therapeutic techniques relevant to occupational therapy.Experience in outpatient settings, home health, geriatrics, or early intervention is preferred but not mandatory.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.Ability to manage multiple cases while providing high-quality patient care.Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in practice.Join our team and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those we serve through your expertise as an Occupational Therapist!
