Bartender Job Overview :

We are seeking highly motivated and customer-focused bartenders to join our Born & Bred by Aftermath team in Chandler. We are seeking a skilled and personable individual who is passionate about mixology, customer service, and creating memorable moments. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our upscale restaurant by crafting exquisite cocktails, providing top-notch service, and contributing to the overall ambiance of our establishment. Our ideal candidates are “JR.CPA’S” - Joyous, Reliable, Curious, Passionate, Altruistic, and have an awesome Stage Presence.

Responsibilities : Beverage Mastery :

  • Craft a diverse range of high-quality cocktails with precision and creativity.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new ingredients, and innovative techniques to continually enhance the beverage menu.

Customer Service Excellence :

  • Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and courteously.
  • Engage with patrons to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere, building rapport with regular customers.

    • Beverage Knowledge :

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the beverage menu, including cocktails, wines, and other specialty drinks.
  • Offer recommendations and suggest pairings to enhance the overall dining experience.

    • Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization :

  • Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
  • Adhere to health and safety standards in the preparation and serving of beverages.

    • Collaboration with Team :

  • Work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient service.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

    • Upselling and Revenue Generation :

  • Identify opportunities to upsell premium beverages and contribute to revenue targets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management.

    • Compliance :

  • Adhere to all relevant legal and safety standards regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
  • Ensure responsible service practices, including checking identification to verify age.
  • Maricopa Food Handlers certification & Title IV Liquor Certification Required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Bartender in an upscale or fine-dining restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of mixology and a passion for creating innovative and unique cocktails.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale (TOAST) a plus.

    • Compensation :

  • Hourly tipped wage plus tips.
