Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the electrical research, development and design of urban railway vehicles, ensuring that design meets the customers requirements. Using prescribed techniques, performs specific and limited portions of an experienced engineers broader role.
- Design of electrical system components of railway vehicles.
- Production of parts for the electrical system of railway vehicles; testing of completed vehicles.
- Product design, quality control, and converting contracts into specifications that can be used for production, manufacture, procurement and inspection.
- Output of related technical documents to process, production and related service departments as well as customers.
- Accuracy of documents; ensuring that design control meets requirements of quality system documents, and product structure, material selection, functionality and other qualities of contracts and related laws and regulations.
- Review of changes to design documents and implementation of changes.
- Accuracy, conformity and timeliness of document changes; compiling and distributing of technical documents.
- Submittal of first article inspection list to related departments or units, and participating in the first article inspection work.
- Non-conformity product assessments, and forwarding assessment comments.
- Designing materials or products that minimize environmental pollution; meet environmental and safety requirements; and conserve materials, energy and resources.
- Investigation and analysis of quality defects with related departments.
- Learn related safety management systems and procedures of the company. Supporting and ensuring safety production during work per management standards.
- Design of standards that reduce or minimize sources of danger and potential safety hazards. Takes measures against dangers that cannot be eliminated.
- Development of emergency action plans in case of emergency.
- Design of safe production processes and products that ensure a safe environment for product use.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements :
B.S. degree or above in engineering from an accredited college required.Possess professional knowledge relating to electronic engineering or electrical engineering.Be able to work in a fast-paced environment; follow quality procedures, management specifications and other regulations of the company and departments.Have excellent occupational ethics and professional standards; have sense of responsibility for their own work.Participate in safety education provided by the company.Have ability to gain basic knowledge of electrical design of vehicles, and knowledge of electrical system of vehicles.Have ability to learn IRIS quality management system standards and theory; learn quality policy of the company, and how it applies to their department and position.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook.)Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
