Job Duties

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
• Collect and verify patient insurance information (must be knowledgeable in insurance carriers i.e., Mericare, Kern Family, Commercial)
• Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining patient records
• Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient office operations
• Handle patient inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide excellent customer service
• Manage inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed
