The Position Specifics

The Host is where each guest experience starts and ends. The door or Porta is the most important part of the restaurant. First and Last impressions matter and have a lasting impact on the guest experience. The responsibilities for this position include :

  • Welcome each Guest upon arrival and thank them for joining Over Easy when they leave.
  • Seat each Guest in a timely manner and effectively manage the waitlist Ipad system
  • If on a wait keep, remember it is our job to Spark Brighter Days
  • Answer phones, be able to answer guest questions or get them to the person that can best take care of that guests needs.
  • Respond appropriately to Guest requests. Communicate Guest requests to Server as needed
  • Assist teammates as needed with food delivery and bussing tables
