ASRC Federal is currently seeking a Senior Web Developer to work on-site in anticipation of upcoming work in Tacoma, WA.

The Senior Web Developer shall perform the following :

Builds, designs, and maintains all websites and software applications.

Regulates exposure to business stakeholders and executive management as well as other authorities.

Designs, writes, and edits website content.

Understands UI, cross-browser compatibility, and general web functions and standards.

Creates solutions for identified problems or bugs.

Communicates with colleagues, managers, and stakeholders daily.

Executes assignments with the use of web applications, scripts, and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs.

Develops and validates test routines to ensure the quality of the external and internal interface.

Plans and delivers software platforms and products across multiple organizational units.

Designs assignments with web services like REST, SOAP, etc.

Evaluates written code to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all devices.

Maintains a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating in study groups.

Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership of new and different requests.

Requirements

7-10 years of experience as a Senior Web Developer, and have a full understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle

Bachelor's degree and / or equivalency.

Expertise in web development technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages and frameworks.

Possess a deep understanding of web development standards and best practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to develop robust, scalable web applications, to include the Sitecore content management system.

Proficiency in backend development : experience with server-side programming languages and frameworks. To include ASP.Net, ASP.Net MVC, C# and Java. Should be able to design and develop database schemas and work with backend frameworks such as Node.js or Django.

Experience with front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue. Should be able to design and develop user interfaces that are both functional and visually appealing.

Strong problem-solving skills : Should be able to identify and solve complex technical problems quickly and effectively. Should be able to troubleshoot issues and debug code efficiently.

Leadership and mentoring skills : Should have strong leadership skills and be able to mentor and guide junior developers. Should be able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience planning and managing multiple tasks

Must be US Citizen ; successful candidate is subject to a background investigation by the government and must be able to meet the requirements to hold a position of public trust
