A company is looking for a STAT PFL Claims Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial and ongoing interviews with claimants and gather information regarding Short Term Disability claims
Collaborate with case managers and medical professionals to make timely claim determinations
Review medical records and perform financial calculations in accordance with company and state guidelines
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
1-2 years of experience in claims, leaves, or customer service
Experience with disability and / or absence management is a plus
Strong mathematical skills for payment calculations
