Up to a $5,000 sign on bonus, based on experience. This position is located out of our Mobile, Alabama district office.

Job Summary:

Complete fire protection systems installation/service for all types of new and existing fire sprinkler projects. Projects will include Industrial, Commercial and some Residential. Can comprehend NFPA code, design/installation methods, hydraulic calculations & material lists for fire sprinkler systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow procedures to install, diagnose, and repair fire protection equipment
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs and operational product manuals.
• Exhibit effective customer service skills, consistently communicating with the district staff and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction
• Complete Service Acknowledgements with proper coding and obtain customer signatures.
• Participate in a scheduled on-call rotation, travel or work weekends, as necessary.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

• General mechanical knowledge
• Experience in Fire Sprinkler/Protection Installation, Service or Design

Additional Preferred Experience / Qualifications:

• NICET certification preferred but not required
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with Company guidelines

Successful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required. MVR checks are required for all driving positions.
