Today, Covera is partnered with leading employers, payers and healthcare organizations across the US, including Walmart and Microsoft. And, with a pipeline representing over 25% of insured Americans, we are in the early stages of improving care quality for all patients across the globe.

About the Role

As the General Manager of Population Health, you will work directly with the Executive Leadership team to lead the scaling of the company's AI oversight and quality assurance platform. Covera's Protect AI program represents a first of its kind approach that leverages cutting-edge AI technology to surface critical insights which improve patient care and quality. The Population Health vertical within Protect AI at Covera has already garnered significant interest from leading payors and providers across the country, with pilot planning in motion. This is a highly visible, cross-functional role with a broad mandate to plan and execute against this opportunity. This is a unique role sitting at the intersection of Covera's payor and employer customers, radiology network partners and at-risk primary care groups to build a sophisticated, impactful population health model.

In This Role, You Will Be Expected To :

  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team to evaluate and refine the Population Health strategy, set priorities and execute against short and long-term objectives for the program
  • Drive adoption of Population Health across the market by engaging ACOs PCP groups and radiology facilities to drive adoption and engagement with our programs.
  • Work directly with Covera's payor and employer customers to align objectives and then operationalize Population Health with these partners
  • Serve as the primary point person for primary care provider partners in the market to support engagement with our clinical findings.
  • Lead the team that successfully executes Population Health pilot programs and transitions to scaled deployments with provider partners
  • Working closely with the Growth / Commercial team, serve as a thought leader and expert on Covera's Population Health program for prospective BD / sales conversations
  • Work deeply with a cross-functional internal team to plan and execute on Population Health priorities across product, tech, AI and analytics / reporting, readying the organization for scale
  • Establish KPIs for Population Health program success both internally and externally and work closely with the analytics team to measure and track on-going performance
  • Assess medium to long-term resourcing needs for a successful program and work with COO and Executive Leadership Team on resource planning
  • Act as a thought partner to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team on other company programs as they relate to strategic decisions and tradeoffs that could impact Population Health.

Special Considerations :

While we are a remote-first company, this role will require significant travel to meet with partners, prospects, and providers in-market, as well as attend some industry related events.

Requirements :

  • 10+ years healthcare experience, with some combination of healthtech start-up, consulting and / or enterprise healthcare (payor, provider) background
  • Proven track record working collaboratively with payors, providers or both on high priority, high visibility initiatives (Medicare Advantage experience a plus)
  • Deep understanding of value-based care and risk sharing arrangements between payor and provider
  • Demonstrated success in business development and sales, including personally closing strategic deals while also leading teams to scale market adoption
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across teams at all levels of an organization, aligning resources and work efforts with business goals
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey complex topics simply and clearly
  • Unique combination of healthcare strategic thinking with execution orientation to drive impact
  • Humble, thoughtful leader with a high EQ and proven ability to build trust and collaborate with a wide range of colleagues and business partners

  • The minimum and maximum salary for this position ranges from $225,000 to $275,000, in addition to a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to, a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, expertise and location.
