Laboratory Courier- Per Diem

Griffin Health is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lab Courier to join our Laboratory Services team. This important role supports daily operations by ensuring timely and accurate pick-up and delivery of laboratory specimens, medical supplies, and lab reports between the hospital and physician offices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to customer service, and a clean driving record.

Main Responsibilities:

• Travel to multiple physician offices daily to collect laboratory specimens.
• Deliver lab supplies and completed reports to designated locations.
• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all medical specimens and documents during transport.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with medical office staff and hospital personnel.
• Ensure timely, accurate, and safe transportation according to established protocols.
• Perform vehicle inspections and follow safety procedures for specimen handling.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Requirements:

13 months of related experience preferred; laboratory experience a plus.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Must possess a valid Connecticut driver's license with a clean driving record.
