Full-Time Store Processing Supervisor

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications :

The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and / or abilities required for this position.

Education : High School Diploma or currently pursuing.

Experience : Retail sales production and / or thrift store experience is highly preferred. Has experience following and giving direction.

Skills / Abilities :

• Ability to speak, write and understand English in a manner sufficient for effective communication with leadership and field personnel.
• Basic computer skills including but not limited to the use of payroll program and the ability to learn other programs or systems that are adopted by the TSA ARC.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to use basic math skills.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background test.

Supervisory Responsibility :

Oversees production team members assigned by management. This may include paid staff, volunteers and beneficiaries.

The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel :

May be required to travel to various locations for work or training.

Working Conditions :

The work environment for this position is a store environment with a quiet to moderate noise level. The environment may be dusty and may experience temperature fluctuations based on weather. May stand for extended periods. Full-time / Part-time position; will require weekend and evening hours.
