Description

• Assists providers in performing office procedures and duties related to patient care and patient documentation
• Assess the patient flow by identifying those areas or problems that are causing interruptions and resolves at point of check in / registration
• Performs basic Medical Assistant functions
• Acquire, update, and review for accuracy patient records and documents
• Transcribes patient family history and any forms as needed
• Reviews each patient orders for completeness and cancels any order not done prior to patient check out
• Consistently rectifies patient inaccuracies and calls them to the Practice Manager attention
• Reviews each patient referral and laboratory results for patients
• Obtains patients waivers and consents at registration, using electronic medical record
• Prepares examination rooms immediately after patient’s visits
• Maintains rooms stocked with supplies and disinfected daily
• Assures the patient is checked out and has been provided the Patient Summary Plan
• Reviews the Patient Summary Plan to assure the patient clearly understands

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
