Sr. Database Administrator

THE POSITION :

On a day-to-day basis this individual will be responsible for administrating and implementing database solutions while providing system operational support administration problem resolution and perform software installations and upgrades on our database systems. The Database Administrator will be expected to exhibit strong troubleshooting techniques while striving to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Other duties also include monitoring performance and capacity on our database systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Responsibility for all database technology deployed in the enterprise Including

Various versions of Microsoft SQL Server and features including the core database engine SSRS SSIS SSAS SQL Replication technologies and other modules

Office : While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach grasp stand and / or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift) walk talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet with frequent interruptions and multiple demands.
